About The Winery
A hobby begun in the early 1980s turned into a family business for Bill and Anita Donahue and their son, Tim. Anita and her Italian family cultivated the Donahue's deep appreciation for the sharing of wine and food with family and friends. Creekside Cellars became a bonded Colorado limited winery in 1996. We opened our doors to the public in 2000, the day after Thanksgiving, and in 2002 we planted our own vineyard in Palisade, Colorado, called Vinelands. More than a winery, Creekside Cellars doubles as an Italian café featuring an outdoor deck overhanging Bear Creek. We pride ourselves in offering excellent wine and food to share among good people. Creekside is a special destination for a lunch of panini sandwiches…or to linger over one of our famous antipasto platters with a bottle of wine and the company of friends and loved ones.

Wines Produced
2012 Chardonnay
this wine displays citric notes of lemon and pineapple with some underlying tropical melon, rounded out by tasty, warm and smokey components from the oak.
2012 Gewürztraminer
Gewürztraminer wines are available in varying degrees of sweetness. Creekside‘s Gewürztraminer is made with Alsace, France in mind. This wine is dry and full-bodied, and was aged in neutral oak, giving it a luscious and inviting mouth-feel. Gewürztraminer is fresh, floral and spicy. The nose is eleg
2012 Reisling
Presenting a flower-scented and delicate but complex nose, Creekside’s Riesling is off-dry and retains both pleasant acidity and higher sugar levels than most of our wines. The palate is spicy and expressive, reminiscent of peaches, apricots and pears with an engaging, lingering finish.
2012 Viognier
Our dry version of this Rhone varietal, with its sensual mouth-feel, is grown at The Vinelands, our own vineyard in Palisades, Colorado
2008 Cabernet Sauvignon
Our Cabernet is vibrant and well-balanced, with the acidity and tannins delivering solid structure and real potential for extended longevity. Black currant and black cherry abound with hints of cedar.
2008 Rosso
It is a fantastic wine to pair with your favorite Italian food or to drink by itself with friends. Our lightest red, it may be the ideal wine for red-lovers on hot summer days!
2009 Syrah
Exotic spices and hints of clove linger on the finish. The wine was aged on new French oak for 12 months. The mouth feel is medium-bodied, with bright acidity.
2010 Cabernet Franc
On the palate, expect black cherry, nutmeg, black olives, caramel, toasted walnuts, cocoa and cinnamon. As this wine ages, it will reveal the classic Cabernet Franc characteristics of leather, tar and tobacco. This is Franc, Colorado's Cabernet.
2010 Robusto
